BRAD WILLIAMS
Inimitable US comedian Brad Williams — a card-carrying headliner who sells out shows all across North America, and an emerging actor with over twenty credits to his name — will dish out his raunchy, no-holds-barred comedy when he makes his Australian debut this December.
Williams will kick off his tour at Sydney’s Comedy Store on Friday 14 December, followed by three shows at Melbourne’s The Comic’s Lounge on Thursday 20, Friday 21 and Saturday 22 December.
Brad is consistently winning over audiences with his hilarious and inspiring observations on disability, relationships, sex, and race. He is proof that anyone can overcome their shortcomings. His live performances are always high energy and often induce standing ovations from those in attendance.
‘A raucous hour of nonstop laughs.’ – Under The Gun (US)
‘Leaves the audience howling.’ – Comedy Reviews (US)
‘Brad Williams’ comedy is raunchy, thought provoking, at times goofy,
and honestly just all around good fun.’ – Comedy Critic (US)
One of the most in-demand comedians working in the US today, the California native started his stand-up career at age 19 and has been touring the States ever since. He has released two hit US comedy specials: Fun Size, the highest rated comedy special on Showtime in 2015, and the New York Times-acclaimed Daddy Issues.
During the Montreal Just For Laughs Festival, Williams hosted some of the edgiest comedians in the country in the infamous Nasty Show. His appearance was so well-received that he was moved to headliner for the rest of that series, and was invited back in 2016 to perform in Neil Patrick Harris’ Circus Awesomeus show, where he knocked it out of the park again, receiving four standing ovations.
He’s appeared on numerous TV shows including Legit with Jim Jefferies, Ricky Gervais’ Life Is Short, The Tonight Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and has a brand new special in Netflix’s upcoming stand-up comedy showcase The Degenerates – dropping on October 30 and described by Netflix as America’s funniest delinquent comedians in six ‘Not Safe For Work’ half-hour specials.
‘Rollicking, funny and penetrating.’ – New York Times (US)
‘Brad’s stand-up comedy makes me erect, and that hasn’t
happened in a long time.’ – Jim Jefferies
‘Prozac with a head.’ – Robin Williams
In addition to stand-up, Brad is a dynamic on-air personality. His podcast About Last Night has become a mainstay on the iTunes Charts. Brad and fellow comic Adam Ray share crazy stories from their lives on the road alongside an impressive array of guests which have included Jimmy Carr, Judd Apatow and Susan Sarandon.
Don’t miss your chance to catch Brad Williams’ Australian debut in Sydney and Melbourne this December 2018. Tickets won’t be around long!
