Bring Your Own Bags As We Go Plastic Bag Free Tomorrow!

Tomorrow marks a momentous occasion at the Market as we introduce a ban on single-use plastic shopping bags. This is a significant step for us in moving towards a greener, more sustainable future and we need your help!

Please bring your own bags, baskets and trolleys to the Market and support us as we go plastic bag free.
If you forget your bags, you can purchase a paper bag, borrow a Boomerang Bag or buy a reusable bag from the Market Office or our traders.

Thank you for supporting our quest to reduce single-use plastic and helping us change this beautiful world of ours, one bag at a time.

Bring Your Own Bags Launch

Join us tomorrow (Wednesday) morning between 9am–11am as we launch this initiative and farewell single-use plastic shopping bags at the Market. Find out more about how you can get involved from Beach Patrol Australia, Port Phillip Eco Centre and Boomerang Bags who will be there, plus we’ll have face painting and the Water Drops stilt walkers for the kids.
