Every day, people uncover life-changing family stories in our collection. Yet many records remain out of reach – too delicate to handle and accessible only in Melbourne. Your support can change that.
With a gift today, you’ll help digitise irreplaceable records, such as the Melbourne Benevolent Asylum registers, ensuring they are conserved and accessible to anyone, anywhere.
We also need to replace outdated microfilm readers to keep up with growing demand. Each new ScanPro 3500 costs $18,910, and we urgently need three. Upgrading this equipment will make it easier for researchers, historians and families to uncover the past.
