Cathy Jones Appointed as Chief People Officer to lead talent strategy
Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners (“Quinbrook”), a specialist global investment manager focused exclusively on the infrastructure needed for the energy transition, today announced a number of senior appointments across the US, UK and European investment and capital formation teams, including the appointment of Hilkka Komulainen as new Global Head of Sustainability and Impact.
Quinbrook Appoints New Global Head of Sustainability and Impact
Effective 25 November, 2024, Hilkka Komulainen succeeds Anne Foster in this global role and will direct Quinbrook’s sustainability and impact initiatives across all fund’s and regions. Hilkka is based in London and will serve on the Quinbrook Investment Committee, driving the next phase of the firm’s well established commitment to impactful investment strategies.
Hilkka joins from Aegon UK, one of the UK’s largest DC pension providers where she established and led the responsible investment team, overseeing Aegon’s climate and stewardship efforts, leading Aegon’s efforts to invest in the energy transition and serving on Aegon’s investment leadership team. Prior to Aegon she led the responsible investment strategy at Inter Fund Management, part of the Interogo Foundation/IKEA, and also previously held roles at EY, the OECD, the United Nations, and the Principles for Responsible Investment where she established a pioneering industry C-Suite Advisory Committee to guide ESG best practice in infrastructure investing.

Quinbrook Expands Senior Leadership Team
Quinbrook is pleased to also announce the following senior appointments to our corporate management, capital formation and investment teams:
- Cathy Jones joins Quinbrook in the newly created role of Chief People Officer, based in London. Jones brings decades of experience in managing talent within private capital investment firms across diverse regions. Jones was previously at CVC Capital Partners in London, where she led the HR Business Partners across the UK and EMEA. Prior to her tenure at CVC, she served as Chief People Officer & Partner at Alderwood Capital, Northill Capital LLP, and as Head of Employee Relations EMEA at BNY Mellon.
- Predrag Dukic has been appointed as a Senior Director, Capital Formation and Investor Engagement in Quinbrook’s Europe team, based in Germany. Predrag’s appointment marks Quinbrook’s increased commitment to serving institutional investors in continental Europe and will significantly enhance the firm’s capital formation efforts across the region. With over two decades of expertise in real assets and infrastructure, Predrag joins Quinbrook from DC Placement Advisors, where he served as Director of Institutional Sales, focused on infrastructure capital raising throughout the DACH region.
- Nick Baker has been appointed as a Senior Director on the US investment team, based in New York. Nick brings a wealth of experience in both conventional and renewable energy infrastructure investment, project development, financing, M&A and asset management. He joins from BAES Infrastructure, where he played a pivotal role in originating new investment opportunities and spearheading project development and business strategy within the US energy markets. Nick’s prior roles include Vice President of Corporate Development at Buckeye Partners, a portfolio company of IFM, board director of Freeport LNG, and Senior Vice President at Macquarie Capital, where he specialized in energy infrastructure and midstream investment banking.
- Liv Miller joins as a Director in Quinbrook’s UK investment team, based in London. Miller joins from Statkraft, where she served as Vice President of M&A and Senior Investment Manager, spearheading M&A and project development initiatives in the renewable energy sector. Prior to Statkraft, Miller managed investments in solar, wind, and anaerobic digestion assets across the UK at the Ingenious Group and prior to that was a senior development and structured finance manager at Lightsource Renewable Energy.
