Hello June Bugs,

Special delivery of an enormous thank you to everyone who made it to George Lane for the DREAMLAND launch. It was one of those blessed nights where all the planets settled themselves exactly where you wanted them. Thanks to my fully gorgeous band for every note. Muchos gracias to Sherry Rich, Rick Plant and Gina Hearnden for bringing their glow and being my special guests. Heart swelling appreciation to everyone who bought tickets and took the leap – for those of you who are still a little gun shy, I’ll be waiting for you when you’re ready to get social.

Here are a few opportunities for us to connect this month.

Amy and I are going dynamic duo style when we open for the velvet voiced Rob Snarski on Saturday 18 June as he launches his new album ‘Searching For The Heart Of It All’ at Memo in St Kilda. We’re on at 8pm and will hold you tenderly in our force field for about 30 minutes.
Rob and I met in WA when we were both in our first bands. We played at the same venues and did shows together & became friends during an exciting time in the Perth. I can’t find an adjective to describe my joy at playing before the reveal of his latest tour de force.

3PBS is holding a memorial / tribute for the beautiful David Heard on June 23 at The Rainbow Hotel and I’m so honoured to be performing along with Alison Ferrier, Jeff Lang, Kerryn Fields, Ben Mastwyk & James Ellis. PBS will be broadcasting from the hotel and we’ll be going live to air with Ernie and Myles hosting. Please come along and celebrate his life and incredible contribution to Melbourne music. No cover charge, just a love of Acid Country and David.  3-5pm

AND…. Saturday 25 June  at  The Union Hotel. At last, after various interruptions we have the green light to stand in front of the red velvet curtain for a few hours and get dreamy in Brunswick. I’m crossing the bridge with Amy Valent Curlis – vibraphone and percussion, Jo To – bass and James Gilligan on pedal steel. 5-7pm and all you need to get in the door is willingness.

Don’t forget you can buy DREAMLAND digitally for $15 or cd version for $25 including postage right here:

Thank you again to everyone who has embraced my newest sound child.
Looking forward to seeing your faces in a dimly lit room in June.

xx TLD
