In this, the 3rd and final instalment of the Life & Times of “Mick” Pacholli, Mick regales us with tales of more of his father’s legitimate and semi-legitimate enterprises.
We learn how the economic downturn in the 1980’s finally bought the iconic street paper, the Toorak Times to its end.
Among all the turmoil of his life, Mick turns to, of all things, lawn bowls and does very, very well.
Then after the death of his father Mick purchases the rights to the name “The Toorak Times” and begins to build it into one of Australia’s premier on-line multimedia newspapers, using the philosophy of ‘Citizen Journalism’.
This is one one of the most fascinating and untold stories of a man with a vision for an ‘alternative” on-line paper, who is a contributor to his community in so many ways.
Tune in, be educated, be amazed, be entertained and be prepared for the unexpected.
