Listen To Older Voices: Max Goodfellow

Share post:

Welcome to Listen To Older Voices, a program produced by Rob Greaves and podcast through the Toorak Times and Tagg

This single program was first aired in February 2008 and in it, Max Goodfellow talks of his life which commenced post WWII in Bunyip, a very small country town in Victoria.

Max was a man of very few words, which did present a challenge, but what came through clearly throughout our talk was, that Max is a man who has largely depended upon himself for most of his life.

Max has a solid philosophy on life, which helped him deal with many tough times during his life. Marrying at a young age, he comes across as a big man physically, and a man with an equally big heart. As Lorraine, his wife, has deteriorating health Max steps up showing that no matter the challenges he is ready to meet them.

[As a result of the lifting of COVID restrictions, commencing with the next program we are pleased to begin new, previously unheard programs]
