This is the 4^th and final program in the Life & Times of well known and loved Australian singer – Marcie Jones. Over the past 3 weeks Marcie has taken us on quite a journey from her earliest memories in the 1940’s through her embryonic career in the early 60’s, her solo career and her successful career as the front singer in Marcie & the Cookies.

What a journey. She fell in love with Normie Rowe and they became engaged, but the pressures of the industry eventually forced them apart, but they have continued to remain close friends ever since.

Now with a family in her life, she continues to perform and record in what is a prime example of Positive Ageing.

In this program Marcie covers range of social topics including sharing her journey as a song writer over the past 20 years, which has culminated in a very recently released CD – Marcie Jones Anthology.

There is so much to Marcie, who is also a published author having released a series of children’s books based on her two dogs.
