Medical Design Innovations (MDI) is proud to announce it has officially been licensed by the Australian Made Campaign, confirming its products are genuinely Australian Made and manufactured to the highest local standards in its facility in North Brisbane.
The certification highlights MDI’s commitment to Australian manufacturing, supporting local jobs and strengthening local capability in the healthcare sector. It also allows MDI to carry the iconic green and gold Australian Made logo, giving customers clear assurance that its certified products are genuinely made in Australia.
The certification includes MDI’s Flush Mount Medical Services Panel (MSP), Surface Mount MSP, Screwless Sub Mount MSP, H Series Custom-Built Pendant, S Series Custom-Built Pendant, HDP Series Ceiling Mounted Patient Lift System, and Pendant Brackets and accessories.
This milestone reinforces the strength of MDI’s local manufacturing model, combining quality assurance processes with the design and delivery of innovative, custom pendant solutions for healthcare facilities across Australia and New Zealand.

The Australian Made logo can only be used on products that meet stringent criteria, including that all or the vast majority of the product is made in Australia. For customers, the certification provides assurance of product origin, safety, and compliance with Australian regulations.
Driven by lessons from global supply chain disruptions and a focus on reducing reliance on overseas suppliers, The Australian Government strongly supports and promotes onshore medical manufacturing, aiming to secure local capabilities and build resilience in the health sector.

About Australian Made Campaign:
Originally an initiative of the Federal Government in 1986, the AMAG logo is administered by Australian Made Campaign Ltd (AMCL), a not-for-profit public company established in 1999 by the Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ACCI) and the network of state and territory chambers of commerce, with the cooperation of the Federal Government.
In 2002, the Federal Government transferred ownership of the logo to AMCL via a Deed of Assignment and Management, which sets out strict conditions under which AMCL may administer the logo. AMCL is governed by a Board comprising senior business representatives in a voluntary capacity. AMCL is not a government body and does not receive government funding for its core operations, which are licensing companies to use the logo and promoting Australian products both in Australia and overseas.
