The Water Rat Hotel is delighted to again feature a very special guest singer with JMQ JAZZ ENSEMBLE – Melbourne's queen of jazz, NICHAUD FITZGIBBON – recognised as Australia's premier jazz stylist .


Her natural charisma and feisty elegance brings sophistication to performances offering a repertoire of popular jazz standards of thr Great American Songbook. Her sound is sultry and warm and she always leaves you wanting more from her selection of swing and grooves to bossa and blues. She works with Melbourne's finest musicians in a variety of combos,

This evening the JMQ Jazz lineup with Nichaud will include Michael Harding (piano), Kim May(double bass), Rod Gilbert(drums), Tim Wilson (alto sax), John Montesante (trumpet + flugelhorn).
