Peak Hour Images have been at the forefront of the Australian media landscape for over twenty years and are showing no signs of slowing down at all.
This can be proven by their latest investment by way of sponsorship in the newly minted “Raskall & Costello” podcast. Staring TV stalwarts Allan Raskall and Seb Costello.
Allan Raskall, a veteran journalist, has over two decades experience covering some of this country’s biggest stories including Victoria’s devastating Black Saturday bushfires, Royal tours, world economic summits, Federal and State elections, major sporting events as well as Melbourne’s bloody gangland war. Completing a Bachelor of Arts-Communications degree while working in the industry, Allan began his career with 9NEWS reporting, presenting, producing and chief-of-staffing across 11 years in the Sydney, Darwin and Melbourne markets. He then spent six years reporting for 10 News, before becoming a freelance reporter for 7 News and SBS World News. Allan then returned to 9NEWS Melbourne in a freelance capacity between October 2013 and 2025 when he left the network to work on other projects, such as this podcast.
Seb Costello began his radio career at Melbourne community radio station SYN in 2007 while studying at RMIT University. He then moved into commercial radio, working as an announcer at Max 107.3 in Taree on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, and then at Classic Rock 102.5FM in Echuca on the New South Wales/Victoria border. Following his stint in Echuca, Costello moved back to Melbourne and began working for 3AW. Firstly, as producer for Derryn Hinch’s drive program, then as a producer and reporter for Neil Mitchell‘s breakfast program on 3AW. He also became a boundary rider during the station’s AFL broadcasts. Costello moved from 3AW to Triple M in late 2014, where he became a news presenter on The Hot Breakfast. Costello was appointed as the Nine Network‘s new Europe correspondent in 2017, he left Triple M. In December 2012, Costello became a Nine News reporter. In October 2020, Costello joined A Current Affair as a reporter. You may recognise his surname, and rightly so, Seb Costello is the son of former Treasurer of Australia and former chairman of Nine Entertainment Co., Peter Costello. He is also the nephew of Baptist minister and World Vision Australia chief executive, Tim Costello.
Speaking exclusively to the Toorak Times, Lord Murray Schoorman, the brains behind the Peak Hour empire said “We are thrilled to announce that Peak Hour Images have officially sponsored the new ‘Raskall & Costello’ podcast series staring Allan Raskall and Seb Costello. Tune in now via iTunes or Spotify to listen to their weekly banter of all things Melbourne!”
In discussion, he then went on to explain that this sponsorship investment is wholly congruent with Peak Hour Images’ overarching corporate strategic vision, reflecting his unwavering commitment to innovation, growth, and meaningful engagement within their target markets. As a conscientious corporate leader, he is firmly convinced that this sponsorship not only underpins and empowers this promising new venture, but also positions them to realise an unprecedented return on investment. By aligning Peak Hour Images with this initiative, they are not merely supporting its success; they are strategically amplifying his brand’s influence and fostering long-term value creation for all stakeholders involved.
