After great international success in Berlin and Paris, Nikki Nouveau performs Piaf & Dietrich for the first time in Australia at Ella’s Music Club.

Nikki Nouveau performs a stunning repertoire of classic songs from legendary Parisian artist Edith Piaf and Berlin screen legend Marlene Dietrich. From wildly different backgrounds and experiences, the divas forged a remarkable and compelling lifelong friendship after first meeting in New York. Nikki takes the audience on a musical journey of the 1940s, playing hits of the Grand Dames, with piano accompaniment by acclaimed Musical Director John Thorn. Sung in French, German and English.

Nikki Nouveau is an imaginative and passionate performing artist with a strong love of characterisation and theatrical storytelling through emotive rendition of songs. Her many years of performance incorporates jazz, classical and musical theatre vocal technique drawing upon her dramatic training at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), Australian Musical Theatre Academy and MASQUE National Institute of Performing Arts.

Nikki has toured internationally with her own productions performing to sell-out audiences and rave reviews in Edinburgh,Paris,Berlin and throughout Australia.

Her hit show No Regrets: The Edith Piaf Story continues to draw great acclaim performing to captivated audiences.

Nikki made her debut at the 2018 Melbourne Cabaret Festival with her one woman production Kabaret Dietrich, an embodiment of the immortal memory of Marlene Dietrich. Her timeless production features classics such as Boys In The Backroom, Illusions and Falling In Love Again, sung in German with Nikki playing the musical saw. Theatre People described her as “the epitome of class and reinvention” in a 5-star review.

2018 also saw Nikki tour with renowned magicians Madotti & Vegas in a new Australian theatrical production Lost In Venice and popular long-running cabaret-circus spectacular Paris Underground.
