“The EV AutoShow features exclusive test drives, daily industry sessions, and insights into charging and finance options.” Said Ray Evans, CEO, Future Drive AutoShows. “We believe the event will help buyers ease into the electrified future. Ultimately, we want to deepen attendees’ understanding of what’s on offer in Australia and help them find the right fit for their needs. It’s a celebration of how far we’ve come and a glimpse into the future of mobility.”

ANCAP SAFETY – well known for its crash tests and consumer information – will also be exhibiting at the Sydney International EV AutoShow. As the popularity of electric vehicles continues to grow, so do questions about their safety. To help educate consumers ANCAP will showcase a powerful exhibit that will aim to dispel common misconceptions about EV safety and encourage consumers and fleet buyers to prioritise safety when considering their next EV purchase. Even more exciting for visitors will be the crashed car they will have on display!
“With the rise in popularity of electric vehicles, it’s more critical than ever for consumers to understand their safety features and performance,” said ANCAP CEO Carla Hoorweg. “We’re here to provide clarity and confidence to those considering making the switch.”
The growing popularity of EVs in Australia demonstrates the importance of presenting cleaner transport options to the public. Not just economical, EVs also offer beautiful forms with designers rethinking shape and design due to the vehicles not requiring a large amount of space for a combustion engine. EVs are becoming more accessible to Australians as more brands launch into the marketplace. Many of these brands will be available to be viewed and test-driven at the auto show.
The Sydney International EV AutoShow will be the last major event of its kind before the federal government implements the fuel efficiency policy on the 1st of January, 2025 making attendance the event a must for anyone thinking of switching to an EV. The EV AutoShow will take place on the 8th, 9th and 10th of November at the Sydney International Convention and Exhibition Centre. Tickets start from $30.00 and are available now from Ticketmaster.
