‘The Sugar Mountain team need to be congratulated in showing how hosting a boutique music and arts festival can be done right’ – NOISEY

In just 19 days’ time, Melbourne’s most cutting-edge music and visual art festival – Sugar Mountain, Sat 23 Jan – will bring the party to Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) in the heart of the city’s arts precinct.

With the first release now fully sold out, the festival’s final ticket allocation has gone on sale today – and at just $119, these will be the very last tickets issued for the event. Once these babies are gone, Sugar Mountain 2016 will be officially sold out, so get it quick to secure yours!

Sugar Mountain is also pleased to reveal that our recent holiday season promotion with Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC) was a huge success, raising an amazing $15,000for the organisation. ASRC make a real difference to the lives of asylum seekers in Australia, and Sugar Mountain is proud to support their work.

We’re also chuffed to reveal that joining us on site on Sat 23 Jan will be Melbourne’s iconic radio station and event partner 3RRR. They’ll be conducting a six-hour live broadcast on the day from 4-10pm, feature live sets from some of the festival’s biggest names as well as on-site interviews. Hosted by much loved 3RRR presenters – Richard Watts, Annaliese Redlich, Steve Cross, Sara Savage, Maquarie Fletcher and Ollee Palmer – you can tune in to hear all the action live on 102.7FM, 3RRR Digital or stream via www.rrr.org.au.

Stay tuned as we unveil Sugar Mountain’s playing times and site map next week. Not long now… see ya there!
