Then come and join us for this amazing Wine and Cheese Matching Masterclass! This will be a fully hands on, experiential two hour session exploring how to combine cheese and wines to ensure that both taste good. Hosted by Jenny Polack, who knows so much about wine but also talks about it in a really down to earth way, you’ll be tasting six different types of cheeses, matched with six of our favourite Susuro & Octtava wines. And best of all, by the end you too will be a wine and cheese pairing expert!
Cheese is often said to be the perfect match with wine but is it? Do some wines match better with some cheeses than other cheeses? Do some cheeses match better with some wines? What factors need to be considered to gain the perfect matches?
This masterclass will answer all of these questions by actually tasting both cheeses and wines separately and together as well as giving you a ‘check list’ of factors to ensure your matches work.
You will get extensive notes, examples with explanations and, most importantly, spend several hours refining your skills.
This class is designed for anyone who loves cheese and wine. The best thing is that you don’t need an extensive understanding of wine to be able to participate. Because that would be totally missing the point. Life it too short to worry about wine vocabulary. It’s all about getting into the moment, getting your fingers mucky and having an afternoon of pure wine and cheese fun, as well as hopefully meeting a bunch of really lovely people too!
