Tim McKew is one of the legends of Australian cabaret, internationally acclaimed and has been performing here in Australia and abroad for many years in cities including , Melbourne, Sydney, London, Berlin, Shanghai and more recently in sold-out shows with his Noël Coward production in New York.

 He is arguably one of the most influential performers in Australia’s  history of cabaret and performance art, having forged his career in the 1970s , he has had two sellout retrospectives recently, including the William Mora Galleries  with Come Down With Us , his performance art/dada  extravaganza , with costumes made by Jenny Bannister and has been giving talks at various Universities around Australia.

 Archival work is now being released and a comprehensive book is on its way , we invite you to view this video time capsule from, Tolarno Galleries in Fitzroy Street, St.Kilda from 1979, this is one of 4 separate performance art pieces from the day, called Egypt Vs Berlin a satire on megalomania, with the 2 characters being Cleopatra and Hitler. The Egyptian Queen , via the power of the pyramids travels through time and lands in Berlin in 1941, falls in love with Hitler, murders Eva Braun, builds  pyramids along the Rhine and changes the course of history!
