A young Melbourne producer called Kane contacted DJ/Producer Mobin Master (of ‘Show Me Love’ fame) for mentoring and to attend his studio in Melbourne less than a year ago. Within a few months, Rubber People was born and signed to Hot Sunday Records. Mr. Z, another local producer came up with a cheeky bootleg idea, to revamp the 70s Classic track: ‘Relight my Fire’ by Dan Hartman. Mr. Z joined Kane & Mobin in the studio and they worked together to polish this new track into a re-master piece.
The track has been getting played around the clubs around Australia and has recently gained traction across dance radio. Sheer determination by Kane, gave the camp full clearance of the use of the sample from Sony Music USA, within 12 hours of sending the track to them. This disco infused update is infectious, catchy and true to the original and simply makes you want to dance!
