Bebe Chardis is a product of St. Kilda, with some inherited traits added in.
She’s lived through some tough times and got a degree from the University of Life – Majoring in teenage follies, put to music.
Subjects were varied. She learnt how to dance on a restaurant table without falling off the edge, to do a belly whacker bomb which topped up martinis for people at swim-up bars and reinforced a few stereotypes that visitors to the area carried with them.
Her earlier qualification was followed by an additional degree at Monash University, and further studies via the Office of Psychiatric Services.
She has been in just about every prison in Victoria. A colleague stated ‘Yeh. ‘That would be right.’
Bebe would not disclose her age, quoting Oscar Wilde. . A woman who tells one her real age, would tell one anything.
