Over the last 27 years, the Artist for Kids’ Culture (AKC) Auction has become an iconic fund-raiser and source of artistic expression, bringing together the work of prominent Australian artists and raising funds to make a direct, positive impact on the lives on children experiencing hardship.
Founded by the late and much-revered artist David Larwill, last year the foundation was able to grant over $100,000, enabling kids to participate in art and cultural activities that would not otherwise be available to them. Artists, sponsors and the art-loving community have continually supported AKC, one of the most popular events on the Melbourne art scene.
As a way of keeping this support alive during Covid, this much- loved art event has become the Artists for Kids Culture Live Stream Auction Launch Party on 25th November at 7.00 pm.
