REVEAL VIDEO FOR ‘IMPACT’ + TOURING SOON
With their latest single ‘Impact’ populating alternative airwaves nationally, The Creases today unveil the video for the catchy song.
The quirky video was premiered this morning by Pedestrian, and saw the band collaborating with an outside director for the first time ever.
“When first discussing the video we told director Sophie Hayward that we wanted a very set and character based clip, citing some of our favourite videos from bands like Blur and The Dandy Warhols, and she organised all these amazing and interesting people to be involved, and built and decorated the set rooms herself by hand. It was really amazing. This is the first video we haven’t actually made ourselves as well so it was a very strange and exciting experience to just simply turn up and be in it.”
Vocalist and guitarist Joe Agius wrote Impact whilst staying at his father’s farm. The song highlights, “the struggles to keep a balanced lifestyle and relationship with people, work and sleep when everything you do creatively requires you to be unbalanced.”
‘Impact’ is an undeniable highlight of the band’s live set. Fans will be able to witness this for themselves when The Creases hit the road in just a few weeks for a three-date East Coast tour. Performing at some choice venues in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney, and with a blistering live set and cheap-as-chips ticket prices, this is definitely one party you can’t afford to miss!
