The countdown is on. We’ve only got four months until the Victorian State Election.
That means we’ve got less than four months to save Victoria from Matthew Guy and his brigade of anti-worker cronies.
The seat of Bass, currently held by a Liberal MP who has campaigned to cut penalty rates, is a key battleground in Victoria’s political landscape. We need to make sure that the people in this community keep the Victorian Liberals as far away from forming government as possible!
So on Saturday the 25th of August unionists and community members will be hitting the streets and knocking on doors around Pakenham, Officer and Clyde – having conversations with locals about why it’s important to put the Liberals last at the polls this November.

Where: Pakenham Library, corner of Henry St and John St. There is plenty of parking at the venue, and it’s only a 5-10 minute walk from Pakenham station.
When: Saturday 25th of August. Briefing will start at 10am
If it’s your first time doorknocking we’ll be sure to pair you up with an experienced activist, and everyone will be trained before we head out!

We know that when the Liberals are in power, working people suffer. We need to talk to voters about the issues that matter to ordinary folks – quality education, healthcare and good, secure jobs.
