I love the nose of this wine, its Australian Pinot Noir through and through or is it? There is something there I just can’t put my finger on.
Maybe it’s the Mornington Peninsula soil poking its nose right in. Then black cherries and bright red fruit with a hint of kitchen spice kick in, flowing from the glass.
Both delicate and dusty with a gentle hint of sweet fruit. I found the wine to be wonderfully light on the palate, yet there is more than a hint of weight and body there. However, for me, this wine is best described as a feminine pinot rather than a heavyweight. this is a good thing as this wine is sexy, very sexy.
This Pinot Noir ticked all the boxes for me.
