Our Festival is back for 2022! For the next three Fridays and Saturdays, the upper forecourt will come alive with entertainment and activities for all.
This weekend, adults can enjoy Yorta Yorta musician and composer Allara, Comedy Festival-favourite Jude Perl, plus Book Perfect Match with Readings (It’s like the game show Perfect Match – but this time you get to find your perfect book).
For the kids, there will be Literary Yoga with Little Warriors Yoga, handpainting with Little Party Faces, a little bit of magic with Nicholas J Johnson, and a comic workshop with Squishface Studio.

Women’s voices from the past
Join award-winning journalist Patricia Karvelas for our celebration of International Women’s Week.
Hear about the Library’s new Women Writers Fund, created to address historical bias and increase the representation of 19th and 20th century female authors in the State Collection. Patricia will be joined in conversation by Fund founder Krystyna Campbell-Pretty AM and Senior Librarian Dr Anna Welch.
This event includes a viewing of recent acquisitions to the Women Writers Fund with light refreshments provided.
