Welcome to the final part of the 4-part series featuring the Life & Times of Baby Boomer Claire Humphrys.
Born in 1946, as she grew up Claire found she had a passion for the Arts, painting in particular.
It was while following that passion as a young girl that early in the 1960’s, she met Gerry Humphrys, who would go on to become a much loved singer with the iconic Loved Ones.
Gerry and Claire married and so their lives would be from that point onward forever entwined. But being married to Gerry meant having to share him with a myriad of fans as the groups fame grew. Now with a child to consider, and with the demons Gerry carried, Claire had to make the heartbreaking decision to separate in order to survive.
In this, the final part of the Life and Times story of Claire Humphrys, Claire openly shares how she regained control of her life and how she returned to the things that were important to her.
Claire was 70 years of age when interviewed, but as we learn she was certainly not sitting around doing nothing. She still has gallery showings and works hard to contribute to her community.
It becomes very apparent that even though she has led a full, active and sometimes turbulent life, it has been a full life and one where she is happy with the choices she has made.
