He finishes his stories of life as a schoolteacher in the early part of the 20th Century which includes stories of how his wife, Sheila, went that extra mile to make children’s life at school that little more enjoyable.
Having retired and living in Healesville, Victoria, Frank talks of his community service of which he is rightly proud of. He also shares some stories of the affect he had on some of his pupils of which he didn’t learn about until many years later – effects that made those teaching years really worthwhile.
Frank also took to writing and had one book – “Did You Know? Snippets from Healesville” published in 1988.
He also discusses his poetry, of which he has proudly written quite a bit, and we share some of his poetry as a conclusion to the program.
