Welcome to Part 2 of the 3-part program featuring the Life and Times story of Baby Boomer John Hanley.
In Part 1 we learned that John came from a family that was meant for the stage. He had a fabulous childhood and was free to seek adventures and in doing so he enjoyed life to its fullest.
This week Johnny introduces us to his persona of “Johnny Hounddog” and in doing so, he shares many stories.
These stories include how he came to take up guitar, how he learned that one of his strengths was lyric writing and how he fronted a number of groups as the lead singer.
But, there is so much more to the man and his story. We learn of the circumstances that led to him becoming a martial arts black belt 3rd Dan, and of the circumstances that led to him returning to study to gain more qualifications to enlarge on his Engineering experiences.
Life is never just full of “up’s”, and John opens up and shares the story of his marriage breakdown and how life was looking bleak until he took control, returned to his martial arts background and worked on his physical and mental health.
We P/up with Johnny talking about how he came to take up guitar.
