Having been born in 1939, Reg and his wife Lesley are now grandparents and Reg shares just how many grandchildren he has in his life. Reg talks fondly and lovingly about his family, and we can’t help but to recall how he has worked hard to make sure his family does not suffer the hardships he had to endure as a child of the Great Depression.
His story is filled with his thoughts on a variety of issues, such as his concerns as to what is, or isn’t, taught at schools. He also shares his thoughts on issues such as computer games and the Australian culture.
However, for me, the highlight of this part of his story is that involving the work he did with kids, with a group called the Yarra Rangers Woodworkers.
