From Midsumma’s CEO, Karen Bryant
This week we closed applications for Midsumma Futures, our new mentoring program. We are really pleased with the huge response and range of applicants. Thanks for your interest and stay tuned as the selection process develops.
Did you know it is also International Volunteer Week (8–14 May)? The 2017 Midsumma Festival engaged 265 volunteers who contributed more than 1,900 volunteer hours over the 22 days, an amazing effort, thank you. I would also like to acknowledge those who come in and assist at other times of the year. Amy Jane who has assisted in data updates recently and our soon-to-start volunteer Amanda Edwards who will be assisting with policy updates. And of course, Alan Drummond our beloved Webdude who after 11 years continues to look after our website and the eNewsletter you are reading now.
We really can’t thank you all enough.
Karen
