Music + Musicians = Happiness
Hello 240 Volts, how are you trucking?
Have you ventured out into the world yet to bathe in the sounds of live music? I have. And I have rediscovered the formula:
live music + real musicians = happiness.
Over the past few weeks I have had very few gigs. Usually I’d feel worried about this. How do I make money? Doesn’t anyone want to play with me? Am I not good enough? But instead of thinking about those things, I’ve used the opportunity to get out and see live music. I’ve reconnected with my own community of fellow music lovers.
That’s where I’ve found happiness and connection.
I travelled 100kms to see Harry Angus play live in Castlemaine, I’ve been blown away by Thando at our beloved and soon-to-close John Curtin Hotel, I’ve listened to Parvyn’s first gig back in two years by sunset, and I’ve soaked up the atmosphere of my favourite classical music bars, Tempo Rubato.
That’s why this month I’m giving you the opportunity to rediscover the formula live music + real musicians = happiness for freeeeeeeeee.
I will be performing a bunch of FREE ENTRY shows over the next little while at different venues around town. And if you’re far and away, I’ll be online for your live music fix.
