The state’s clubs have been celebrated for the incredible support they provide their communities at the 2025 Clubs & Community Awards Night.

From helping to feed vulnerable families, to funding vital medical equipment in hospitals and helping to reduce post-traumatic stress disorder among veterans, clubs across NSW have once again shown the varied ways in which they make their communities better places to live.

Held at the ICC Sydney on Thursday, 19 June, more than 900 guests – including Minister for the Night-Time Economy John Graham, Minister for Jobs and Tourism Steve Kamper and Shadow Minister for Gaming and Racing Kevin Anderson – were on hand to help honour the outstanding social contributions of the state’s clubs at the black-tie event.

The winners and highly commended nominees were acknowledged across nine categories: Arts, Culture & Entertainment; Education; Emergency Services; Environmental Sustainability; Fostering Grassroots Sport; Health Care; Heart of the Community; Mental Wellbeing and Social Inclusion.

ClubsNSW CEO Rebecca Riant said the winners of the 2025 Clubs & Community Awards are a testament to the industry’s commitment to supporting very worthy initiatives.

“Clubs exist to make their communities a better place to live and that was certainly on show last night, with the causes they’ve championed over the past year truly inspirational,” said Ms Riant.

“We had a record number of finalists in 2025 – 142 all up – so the judges had their work cut out for them separating the outstanding from the extraordinary. I’m incredibly proud of our industry, with clubs again showing their unwavering commitment to shaping and strengthening local communities.”

Following the recent devastating floods on the state’s Mid-North Coast, the evening also provided an opportunity for clubs to raise much-needed funds to help with the clean-up and recovery efforts, with the industry digging deep to help the beloved Taree Aquatic Club get back on its feet.
