Neil Cummins, a former Sydney hard man who was known as ‘The Muscle’ on the streets of Kings Cross has today released a tell-all podcast series titled ‘Secrets of the Underworld’.
Cummins who worked his way up from nightclub doorman to personal bodyguard to the king of the cross himself ‘John Ibrahim’ between 2002-2013 says his podcast promises to be an insightful first-hand account into what life was like running the doors and the streets of Sydney’s party district throughout the 2000s, no holds barred, the drugs, the brawls, shootings and more.
The 9 part season is hosted by actor Salvatore Coco who portrayed the Sam Ibrahim based character Harry ‘Hammer’ Hammoud in Channel 9’s Underbelly ‘The Golden Mile’ series and more recently playing construction magnate Les Elias in the Channel 7 production ‘Australian Gangster’.
Coco opens the series with a humorous story of unknowingly meeting Cummins whilst hosting his wedding, an event attended by the who’s who of the Sydney Underworld and circled by Police Helicopters.
Joining Cummins and Coco is world-renown Psychic Tracey-Lee and a list of special guests willing to tell their own stories including former Detective Superintendent of the NSW police force Deborah Wallace, radio personality Rodney O, former bikies, Club Identities and prostitutes making this series an absolute must for True crime fanatics.
