Lucky Ent., Post Meridiem & Faces of Group are proud to announce the launch of Shelter Festival, a warehouse rave featuring internationally recognised techno and house artists, as well as multiple homegrown Australian acts. The inaugural event will take place on 2 April 2022 at the unique venue of Seaworks Williamstown.
The venue, Seaworks, is a chic & unique warehouse themed venue located right on the water in Williamstown, just 15 minutes from the Melbourne CBD.
UMEK, the Slovenian dance music composer, DJ and underground rave legend, is returning to Australia after performances at Saga Festival in Romania and Beyond Wonderland in USA to headline Shelter Festival, bringing his wild eurobeat and techno mixes for a taste down under.
Teenage Mutants, the rule breaking techno duo from Germany, have also come all the way from Europe after performances in Germany and Finland to headline Shelter Festival alongside UMEK and to give Melbourne the chance to experience their groovy and high-octane techno tracks.
The headliners will be joined by an illustrious and eclectic line up of techno and house artists, including zesty Melbourne based dance duo The Journey and cult underground club DJ Rory Marshall.
The event is also set to feature various Australian up-and-comers, such as rising female DJ, Yanzo, Lucas Boston, North Barton and more.
Shelter Festival is an 18+ event with a limited capacity of 4000 guests and will feature an indoor stage with a classic yet fresh and exotic warehouse setting, as well as outdoor chill out areas on the water with sweeping views of the iconic Melbourne skyline.
After Melbourne’s infamous lockdowns, Shelter Festival will bring a sorely needed night of culture and fun straight into the city, helping to rekindle the cities once bright but now dwindling flame.
Pre-sale commences from 9 December with tickets on sale from 16 December at bit.ly/ShelterFestival
