Sigenergy expands into commercial energy storage with CEC approval for new Commercial & Industrial inverter range

Sigenergy has officially expanded into commercial energy storage, with its Commercial & Industrial inverter range now CEC-listed and available to order in Australia. The Clean Energy Council approval, granted last week, confirms Sigenergy inverters meet Australia’s highest safety and performance standards and enables immediate use across commercial-scale solar and hybrid energy projects.

The CEC approval marks a major milestone as Sigenergy begins supporting businesses to use Australian clean energy through scalable energy solutions for business, purpose-built for real-world Commercial and Industrial (C&I) applications.

Future-ready C&I inverters, built for flexibility

Built on a DC-coupled, future-ready platform, Sigenergy’s C&I inverters allow energy storage to be added at any time, without redesigning the original system. This approach reduces upfront complexity while giving businesses the flexibility to scale as energy needs evolve, from pure solar to pure storage or fully hybrid systems.

The compact design, simplified installation process, and integrated energy management system (EMS) help lower total system costs, streamline commissioning, and reduce long-term operation and maintenance requirements.

CEC-listed models now available include:

  • PV Inverters: 50 kW, 99.9 kW, 110 kW, 125 kW

  • HYA Hybrid Inverters (on-grid): 50 kW, 99.9 kW, 110 kW, 125 kW

  • HYB Hybrid Inverters (on-grid & off-grid): 50 kW, 99.9 kW, 110 kW, 125 kW

Expanding commercial energy storage with SigenStack

The launch is complemented by SigenStack, Sigenergy’s modular C&I energy storage system designed for large-scale commercial and industrial deployments.

By pairing hybrid inverters with 12 kWh battery modules, SigenStack can scale up to 253 kWh per inverter, with the ability to parallel up to 100 inverters, delivering systems of up to 25 MWh.

Safety is engineered into every layer of the system, with:

  • Six-layer battery protection

  • Fast anti-backflow protection

  • Intelligent arc fault detection with up to 500m range

The IP66-rated system includes a built-in EMS, full remote monitoring, and rapid commissioning capabilities, reducing installation time and ongoing operational effort while improving long-term reliability.

From residential leader to commercial scale

Sigenergy’s move into the C&I sector builds on its strong foundation in the Australian home battery market. In 2025, Sigenergy was named the Number 1 home battery brand in Australia by SunWiz, demonstrating its leadership in residential battery systems Australia-wide and its growing home battery market share in Australia.

With its commercial and industrial portfolio now CEC-approved, Sigenergy is extending that expertise beyond solar battery solutions for Australian homes into clean energy storage Australia at commercial scale, supporting businesses as they transition to smarter, more resilient energy infrastructure.

Orders for Sigenergy C&I inverters are now open. Built for real-world C&I projects. Ready for what’s next.
