7pm Thursday 27 June
Join Martin Stone, Maxine Gilbee and Tony Lee for an intimate evening sharing the history and stories of a life well-lived inside a Robin Boyd house.
Martin Stone’s parents commissioned Robin Boyd to design their home Stone House in Eaglemont in 1953, and it has remained in the family for more than sixty years.
Maxine Gilbee is the niece of the Wright Family, whose home in Warrandyte is the feature of MGA’s current exhibition Robin Boyd, a portrait of an Australian house.
Tony Lee was the founder of the Robin Boyd Foundation and was instrumental in the the Foundation’s purchase of Boyd’s Walsh Street property. Tony was Executive Director of the Foundation for over a decade, recently stepping down to focus on other projects.
