Boxing Day cricket
For many cricket fans, the Boxing Day test is the highlight of the sporting calendar. It has been a tradition since 1950 to have some of the biggest countries from across the globe come to Australia as part of a series and it has produced some memorable moments in that time, including the Ashes.
Held at the iconic MCG stadium, India are in town later this year, and it promises to be a cracker as the two teams are ranked in the top three right now. Therefore, the latest cricket betting odds show there isn’t much to separate the two ahead of what should be an intriguing clash.

It’s a race that is steeped in history, having been around for 159 years, and it presents a chance for new names to carve their name in the record books later this year.

GABS beer & cider festival
Alternatively, the chance to visit one of the world’s best beer and cider festivals may appeal and that rolls into Melbourne with the GABS festival.
As you would expect for such an event, there are over 100 different choices for you to sample, which is sure to help you find what can be the perfect drink for you. Of course, you will have to try as many as possible just to be sure you don’t miss out on something special!
Along with bringing together the best brewers from across the country and in New Zealand, this event has various other forms of entertainment and a range of street food to ensure you can have fun without touching a drop of alcohol.
