Established in the year 1979, Maxwell Wines is a family-owned estate vineyard covering an area of 80 acres. Over the years, Maxwell has built a reputation for the production of handcrafted, elegant and robust red wines that feature juicy fruit characters, complex structures and blissful aromas. The signature wines under this label – Lime Cave Cabernet and Ellen Street Shiraz – are widely acclaimed reds that are known for their finesse and cellaring potential. The white wines created at Maxwell exhibit wonderfully refreshing varietal characters owing to the cool and gradual ferments that trap the wonders that the fruit has to offer.

This stunning deep red-purple coloured wine has a bouquet emanating blackberry, satsuma plum and liquorice aromas. The palate lingers with the same aromas avoiding the dead fruit characters.
