Sought after jazz singer EMMA GILMARTIN, who appears in all the top Jazz Clubs and Festivals and will be featuring at Melbourne
International Jazz Festival in June, is gracing St Kilda jazz-lovers with her wonderful talent this week.(See att article published this week)

And joining JMQ also is legendary veteran Jazz Saxophonist , BOB BERTLES (in Melbourne while his wife, Nancye Hayes appears in  MTC Production). Bob has been part of Australian Music since the 1950s.

He worked as a Jazz musician, as a sideman and leading his own quintet. Like most musicians in this country he diversifed for some time, playing sax with Johnny O Keefe, touring the world with The Deejays then Max Merritt & The Meteors, performing with Cliff Richards & Cilla Black, appearing on television and on many recordings, collaborating with Toni Lamond on one album too. In orchestras, he has toured Europe and USA extensively and is regarded as one of the 'Names' in the Halls of Australian Jazz.
