The 2023 NSW Sustainability Awards presentation is just around the corner, and the Banksia Foundation is pleased to announce the finalists for this year’s event. With a total of 35 contenders across 12 distinct categories, these awards celebrate innovation, commitment, and dedication to sustainability in NSW. (see below for finalist details)

The NSW Sustainability Awards are an important opportunity to take a moment to recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements of these various individuals, organisations, and projects acknowledging their efforts and contributions. Through this public recognition, we give others confidence and inspiration that there are exciting prospects which can bring about change.

This year’s introduction of the Climate Technology Impact Award drew much attention as is reflected in the four finalists chosen. “It is exciting to see so many innovative businesses developing technologies that have the potential to address climate change” reflects Graz van Egmond, CEO, Banksia Foundation.

The NSW Government is sponsoring the awards to support those taking effective action on climate change and recognise finalists for their innovation and commitment as an investment in the future.

The winners in each category will be announced at the 2023 NSW Sustainability Awards Ceremony, to be held on Thu 7th Dec 2023 at Australian National Maritime Museum. This event promises to be a celebration of sustainability achievements, a showcase of innovative ideas, and a moment to honour those who are working tirelessly to create a more sustainable future for NSW.
