For many people at this time of year an unexpected or tough situation can quickly turn into a crisis. We wrote to you recently to ask if you’d support our end of year fundraising appeal for our crisis services to Australian artists and music workers. Thank you for any contribution you are able to make, large or small. It really does make a difference.
I’d like share this video with you as a reminder of what a difference your gift can make. Last year we spoke with musicians Danny Widdicombe, Andy McDonell, the late Carol Lloyd and retired roadie Noel Jefferson. They described why having a safety net like Support Act is so crucial when you work in music and experience a serious crisis- because “there is no one else”.
