The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice to Parliament referendum is less than 6 months away, and the ‘No’ campaign is counting on people being too confused to vote ‘Yes’.
But if enough of us are equipped with the tools to have meaningful conversations with our communities, we can counter the misinformation campaign and ensure that our friends, workmates and communities are confident enough to vote ‘Yes’ to this important change.
A Voice to Parliament would provide Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people Constitutional recognition and a meaningful say over policies and laws that impact their lives. The Voice to Parliament is a natural reflection of our union values of consultation and collective voice.
By joining us, you will be equipped with powerful talking points and learn how to deal with with common objections when talking with family, friends and workmates about all the reasons unions are supporting the ‘Yes’ campaign.
