Athenaeum Theatre, Melbourne
I hope you enjoy listening to the interview/phone conversation I had with Kathy Lette whilst she was travelling to the airport on route to Sydney.
Kathy was raised in Cronulla, NSW. She left school at the age of 16 and with her friend, Gabrielle Carey, co-wrote Puberty Blues which became an overnight success, movie and series. They really only wrote it for their surfie friends!
Since Puberty Blues, Kathy has written 11 fiction and three non-fiction bestsellers. She uses life experiences to create these best-sellers i.e. marriage (was married to Geoffrey Robertson for 27 years), pregnancy, teenage daughter, autistic son, menopause, toyboys etc.
Kathy is quick-witted and hilarious. Her Girls’ Night Out show will the same. So, come along, celebrate the sisterhood. It will be an uplifting, supportive evening, interaction with the audience and some dancing on stage.
Kathy suggests the blokes should come along to work out what women talk about when they are not around!
See you at the bar after the show with a drink and maybe some swinging on chandeliers!!
