In Part 2 of the remarkable story of Clem Gracie, we start with Clem’s days in the army and we find out why they were days of misery! We are introduced to Margaret, Clem’s wife, and, we learn how they met, literally over a cup of coffee.
Having talked about his love of music and talent in piano playing in Part 1, Clem continues the story of the development of his music, some of which is featured during this program.
This is a fantastic story and the program was runner up to Radio National ABC in 2006 for the OPSO Media Awards in the category for reporting Positive Ageing of over 50’s. Given the resources of Radio National, LTOV was very pleased with this recognition and to come second to the ABC given the programs limited resources was rewarding.
