Welcome to the second part of a 3-part story of the Life and Times of Nick Ordinans.
In Part 1 we learned that Nick, who was born in England in 1950, developed a love for animals while being bought up on his fathers pig farm. Although coming from a humble background Nick wins a scholarship to a prestigious school where he excels.
Having tried his hand at banking and bus conducting, it was when he gained employment as a Zoo keeper that he really finds his calling.
In this program Nick discusses his experiences at the Zoo with the various animals. It was at the Zoo that he met his wife to be, Elizabeth, who was also working as a Keeper.
Nicks tales of this time make for an engrossing set of stories.
Eventually he and Elizabeth migrate to Australia and Nick finds himself working in the renowned Healesville Wildlife Sanctuary, and the stories just keep pouring forth.
A love of animals or a love for telling stories? – Nick enjoys both!
