The story of Ron Fisher, who was born in 1930, is the story of a boy who wasn’t a great student, yet, was smart enough and driven enough to create a wonderful career in the technical side of radio.
In this, the third and final part of his story, his wife – Lynne, joins us as they discuss their support and involvement for the International support group – PLAN.
But radio, which played such a part in Ron’s life, is never far away and Ron talks about his trip to Mindanao, in the Philippines, and why he came about to develop an idea for constructing a radio antenna using bamboo.
There is so much to his story, which also includes stories of his and Lynne’s trip around the world so tune in and be informed and entertained.
