listen to older voices : marcie jones – part 3This is Part 3 of a 4-part program featuring the Life & Times of Marcie Jones, where we explore and share some of the life of the iconic Australian vocalist – Marcie Jones.

Over the past two weeks we have learned that Marcies desire to be a singer and performer goes back to her early years in a music oriented family, where she would perform on the family table.

At the age of 15 circumstances resulted in her singing with the Thunderbirds and from there her career exploded with both solo performances and performances with Marcie & The Cookies on both TV, local dances and national tours.

Marcie finds herself missing Australia, her family and Normie so she returns alone, leaving the Cookies behind.
