“Borte: Empress of the World”
About Borte:
This is a bold premiere of a new piece of music theatre in partnership with the Kazakhstan government. Written by Dulut Isabekov, 80 year old Kazakhstan’s premiere playwright. The play set in 1210 AD puts on stage an extraordinary woman’s story. Börte, the first wife of Genghis Khan, as the Empress of the World.
