Pets are people too brings together Australian artists whose work reflects on the intimacy and affection that exists between humans and animals.

Celebrate National Science Week and our latest exhibition, Pets are people too, with this fascinating panel discussion on the psychology of pets.

Hear from leading pet behaviouralists and passionate pet advocates about how and why your pets think, act and feel.

Doggie Day Out at Bayside Gallery

We’re letting the dogs in for one afternoon only. Bring your four-legged friends to Bayside Gallery for a fun-filled afternoon of activities, treats and to see the exhibition Pets are people too. This is a rare opportunity to appreciate art with your best friend.

Please make sure your doggy is fully vaccinated, on a leash at all times and is socialised and generally non-aggressive to people or other dogs. Also, don’t forget to bring along your poo bags to clean up after your pooches.

Saturday 31 August, 1-5pm. Free event, no bookings necessary.
