Solar pioneer acknowledged for most satisfied customers in Solar Installers and Hot Water Systems categories.

Australia’s original solar brand, Solahart, has been named number one for overall customer satisfaction in the 2024 Canstar Blue Solar Installers category, retaining the prestigious title for a consecutive year. This follows Solahart’s recent win in the 2023 Canstar Blue Hot Water Systems category in December.

Solahart now leads the industry for customer satisfaction across these two categories, with a total of six coveted Canstar Blue badges awarded over the past five years.

Since 1953, Solahart has installed more than one million solar power panels and over one million solar water heaters nationwide. According to Stephen Cranch, General Manager at Solahart Industries, these awards reinforce why Solahart is the trusted name in solar.

“Holding the Canstar Blue Customer Satisfaction awards within both the Solar Installers and Hot Water Systems categories is a true testament to Solahart’s commitment to going above and beyond for customers. We are honoured to be recognised for our team and dealer network’s efforts in helping Australians towards a brighter, renewable-led future,” Stephen says.

“From understanding individual requirements and energy consumption patterns, both now and into the future, to choosing the right solar solution and after-sales service, we pride ourselves on being there for our customers.”

Australia’s most satisfied customers

Each year since 2010, Australia’s number one most trusted consumer comparison site, Canstar Blue, highlights the leading brands in the country*. The Canstar Blue ‘Most Satisfied Customers Awards’ are decided by consumers who rank their satisfaction level with their business of choice on a sliding scale from one to 10.

In the Solar Installers category, Solahart outperformed its competitors for the second year running, having previously held the title in 2023 and in 2020. After surveying more than 12,000 Australians, Solahart received five stars for “overall satisfaction”, “performance of solar system”, “installation process”, “customer service and advice provided”, and “durability”.

In the Hot Water Systems category, over 6,000 Australians were surveyed and rated Solahart five stars for “overall satisfaction”, “features and functionality”, “performance”, and “design”. This is the third win for Solahart within this category, having also won the Customer Satisfaction award in 2020 and 2019.

In addition to the company’s award-winning focus on customer satisfaction, Solahart has continuously invested in technology to provide Australians with a smart energy future.

Its comprehensive range of smart solar products includes Solahart PowerStore® – Australia’s first solar-smart electric water heater, state-of-the-art solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, home batteries, EV chargers, and Solahart’s Home Energy Management System (HEMS).

“With the rising cost of living, coupled with the urgent need to transition to renewable energy, it has never been more important to provide Australians with smart, accessible solutions for harnessing and transforming green energy,” says Stephen.

“Solahart’s innovative, smart solar products will continue to support customers to capture and store more energy from the sun, save on their energy bills, and future-proof their homes.”
