Artist Biographies

Nina Sepahpour is a Melbourne based artist and is a resident artist at Studio 106. Exploring layers of motif, pattern, shape and colour, her work is an abstract response to her environment, influenced by society, its patterns and the simple moments of everyday life. Interested in the crossovers of both analogue and digital techniques, she works across painting, screen printing, collage, graphic design and illustration to create bold compositions with a hard edge.

Over the years Tamar Dolev has participated in many successful group and solo exhibitions, some of which at her resident studio: Artist’s Studio 106 in St. Kilda where she’s been working from for over ten years. Tamar’s work has been recognized with awards including winning the Bayside Acquisitive Art Prize; a highly commended award at the Whillouby Art Prize; she was a finalist in the Agendo emerging artist exhibition and more recently a finalist at the ANL Maritime Art Exhibition and Awards.

Oliver Hull‘s work examines the poetic and political interplay between images and natural landscapes taking the form of digital media, sculpture and installation. Hull has recently exhibited at Fremantle Arts Center (WA), Bus Projects (VIC), Firstdraft (NSW), Freehold Projects Leeds (UK), Jan van Eyck Academie, Maastricht (NL), UDSTILLINGSSTEDET Q (DK). Oliver lives and works in London UK. Oliver is a studio artist at Shakespeare Grove.
