New duo Brain Romance reveals intimate live video for ‘Honest Words’

Hot off the tail of releasing their debut single ‘Honest Words’, the new indie folk outfit Brain Romance has revealed an intimate video to accompany the impeccable first offering.  Made up of Melbourne’s Hannah Cameron and Canadian-born Brian Campeau, the video was shot by Melbourne creative group Shoelace Sessions, capturing the duo live In the warmth of Campeau’s kitchen.

‘Honest Words’ is an alluring culmination of two rich musical histories, decorated with heavenly harmonies and gentle strings. In addition to writing music and lyrics, the duo took to self-producing and mixing the track before being mastered to perfection by Lachlan Carrick. The ‘Honest Words’ video is an accurate reflection of the unwavering friendship between Cameron and Campeau, as they focus on sharing music with each other.

“We did this video in one take with Ty from Shoelace Sessions in my kitchen. We thought the lighting in the room was really lovely and would suit the mood of the song really well. Turns out we were right! It took a couple of tries but in the end we got it right, and we’re pretty happy with the look.” – Brain Romance
